Do you use AI in your art?

At no point in my, Amanda Hartrich's, creative process do I use AI. I use open-source photography, my own photography, or my imagination for references as I draw. All compositions are my own. I have used trial and error or other humans to learn all my skills. And all illustrations are made with my hands using ink, pens, and watercolors.

Where is everything made?

The original artwork is painted in Western New York! I print the cards and art prints in my home. Journals are made by a printer in the US. The papers that I use are sourced from an American paper company.

How are your prints made?

First, my original artwork is scanned or photographed, depending on the size. I then crop and size the file to adjust the ratio for printing. I print the art prints and cards using a professional-grade printer at home..

What ink do you use to make the prints/cards?

I use dye-based inks that, with proper care, are designed to last 80-100 years.

What paper do you use to make the prints/cards?

I use professional-grade, archival paper that is 100% cotton and designed to work with dye-based ink for their highest performance.

How should I care for my prints?

Your print will last generations with some easy safe-guards. Look for UV blocking glass when framing your piece, display it in an area away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Light and high humidity will cause the inks to break down.

Do you have a colorfast guarantee?

We sure do! All prints are backed by our 10 year colorfast guarantee. If at any time your print fades from the sun, contact us at foxjotstudio@gmail.com with a photo of the current condition and tell us where and when you initially purchased it. After we receive all the correct information, we'll reprint and send it to you free of charge. This does not include damage from other sources (water, folds, etc). Limit once per item.

What size are the cards?

Our art cards are 5" × 7" and come with a matching craft envelope. They're perfect for mailing or gifting.

Are the cards blank inside?

Yes! All cards have a blank interior so you can write your own personal message.

How are the cards packaged?

Each card is carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition — sealed in a protective sleeve and paired with a kraft envelope. Orders are mailed in a rigid envelope to ensure your card arrives flat and undamaged.

Can I use these cards for gifting?

Absolutely! Our cards make beautiful standalone gifts as well as thoughtful enclosures. They fit easily into a 5x7 frame. If you'd like a note included, just mention it in your order notes.
